It is with much difficulty that we need to confirm with you that Chuck Schiefen has passed away.
He was involved in a car accident on the Charlotte NC, Inter-State 485 on Wednesday March 16th.
Chuck had a strong passion for his family and his career, spending all his working career in the machine tool industry in one facet or another, then starting Adept Machine Tools in 2009.
Your relationships with Chuck have helped make him a better person. You assisted him in achieving his dream of owning and building a successful business. We know that Chuck would like to thank you for your support and business over the past 13 years. He enjoyed spending time with each of you, and hopefully you retain a special memory of Chuck.

A personal note from Kelly:
I want to begin by saying thank you for the prayers, love, & support many of you have shown this past week. There are simply no words to say how much they mean. I thank God for the comfort He has provided. From the reassurance that Chuck is with Him, to the comfort we feel from how tightly He is holding us during this time. We are taking it one day, one breath at a time. Chuck is the love of my life, my soulmate. Please continue to pray for myself, our daughter Grace, his daughter Brittany, and granddaughter Lily, and all of those who are struggling without his presence.
We do wish to have a celebration of Chuck’s Life in the near future. We will keep you posted once these details are finalized.
Again, thank you for welcoming Chuck and Adept Machine Tools into your businesses over the years.

The Miyano product line consists of a variety of automatic lathes including the BNA-42S, a CNC Turning Center with 2 Spindles and 1 Turret. This machine is a new standard of bar machine with high-functionality and high-precision. It has 8 turrets but the tools can be mounted up to 16 positions by Half-Position Index Mechanism. Also, the mounted Sub-spindle and Control Technology enable simultaneous compound machining.
Cincom is best known as the manufacturer of high-precision timepieces, including the smallest watch, the thinnest watch, and the most accurate watch available today. Its expertise, however, extends beyond watch manufacture, and includes television sets, office equipment, computers, and audio-visual equipment. The company’s vertical integration has led also to the development of advanced production equipment. Among these are the highly precise, highly versatile Swiss-type turning centers known in the trade as CINCOM (Citizen Numerically Controlled Machines).
“Every manufacturer, from large to small, needs this kind of equipment. Machine tools are the mother of all products.”
